Custom business application · Project demonstration
Celestra is a building management application covering tenant and unit records, utility metering, billing, and financial reporting, with separate interfaces for administrators and residents.
Product walkthrough
A 5-minute walkthrough of the administrative and tenant interfaces. This recording has on-screen descriptions and no audio.
The application
Celestra brings tenant records, units, utility consumption, billing, and financial reporting into a building management application. Its interface separates administrative work from the information tenants need to view.
Business workflows
The screens and walkthrough below show the interface. The implementation details describe the corresponding application modules.

Electricity and water are separate business modules. The backend contains meter tracking and billing calculations; the frontend presents consumption, bills, and billing records in dedicated views.
The application includes billing and financial reporting interfaces. The recording demonstrates arrears, cash flow, and report filters, while the API keeps financial reporting separate from the tenant and meter modules.
The walkthrough also switches to the tenant view, where a resident can inspect electricity consumption and related bills. Administrative and resident tasks have different navigation and screen layouts.

Technical structure
The Next.js frontend provides the administrative and tenant interfaces. A separate Django API organizes the business logic into billing, tenants, meters, electricity, water, and cash-flow modules. PostgreSQL stores application data. The backend includes JWT authentication and interactive API documentation.
A production engagement defines the organization’s data, roles, integrations, hosting, acceptance tests, and support coverage. The demonstration provides a concrete starting point for that discussion.
