Senior Principal Lead Architect

Multi-year enterprise technology roadmap. Architecture governance, security protocols, cloud migrations. Final authority on high-risk system designs and vendor evaluation.
ABOUT ANITO
Led by Anthony Garces — 17+ years in IT, from service desk to Senior Principal Lead Architect — backed by a team where nobody signs off on their own work. Anito is where that experience does client work: builds, rescues, integrations, and AI automation with a human in the loop.
Every claim on this page is checkable — LinkedIn, GitHub, or a written commitment.
Why Anito exists
I build software that proves things instead of claiming them.
My open-source work is verification machinery: evidence-based verdicts, audit trails you can replay, gates a model can't talk its way past. Client work runs on the same rule — no black boxes, no claim without something you can check, and nothing that touches live operations without a human sign-off.

The record
This is the LinkedIn history, not marketing. It is also why Anito diagnoses before it quotes — every role here involved understanding a system before touching it.
MightyBox · California
Multi-year enterprise technology roadmap. Architecture governance, security protocols, cloud migrations. Final authority on high-risk system designs and vendor evaluation.
Pantheon · California
Platform-level WebOps for WordPress and Drupal — caching, scaling strategy, pre-launch load testing for mission-critical sites. Promoted from senior engineer; ran the team.

WooCommerce builds, fixes, and store rescues for small businesses in AU and the US.
Hexagon PM Solutions · Lead A Better Business
Full-stack web delivery, project management, and database administration.
TELUS International · Convergys · Sykes Asia
Where the diagnose-first habit comes from: years of triaging other people's broken systems before touching anything.

Public code
Four projects, one specialty: making software claims checkable. Statuses below are honest — pre-release means pre-release. The point is not that they are finished; it is that the code, the commits, and the engineering judgment are public.
Deterministic governance for AI agents that build software. A kernel outside the AI's loop judges work by evidence and executable checks — never by model confidence.
Pre-releasePython · MIT
A trustworthy, immutable audit trail for GitHub Projects — who changed what, from what to what, when, and whether it was automated.
MVP prototypeTypeScript
Evidence-driven behavioral intent compiler — replayable Playwright workflow bundles with provenance and coverage.
Folding into RanexTypeScript · MIT
A checksum-verified corpus of dependency source code, so AI agents read real library internals instead of hallucinating them.

By the measures that matter
Years in IT
2006 to today — help desk, web development, platform support, principal architecture. On the record at LinkedIn.
Years at Pantheon
Platform WebOps for WordPress and Drupal — caching, scaling, pre-launch load testing. Ran the support team.
Open-source projects
Ranex, Oryzn, Arxic, Leitir — public code you can read before you hire.
Ownership handed over
Repos, hosting, and credentials live in your accounts from day one.
Invented case studies
Nothing on this site claims an outcome that didn't happen.
Straight answer on track record: Anito is a new practice, and there are no client case studies to show yet. Rather than invent them, this site shows what already exists — the career and the code. When client outcomes exist, they will be named, specific, and checkable. That is the standard the work itself is held to.
Want the same record written for engineers instead of owners? Anthony Garces on ranex.dev — the same seventeen years, the same open-source projects, and a blunt account of what is still unfinished. Nothing there is softened for a business audience, which makes it a fair place to check whether this page is being straight with you.
Principles
If I break one of these, call it out. I'll make it right.
You own 100% of the code and credentials from day one — in your accounts, nothing behind a login you can't reach. If the handoff isn't complete before the first invoice, the invoice is void.
I diagnose before I quote. A price without understanding the problem is a guess — and you'd pay for it twice.
Every AI workflow has a human off-switch. A named person reviews output before it touches live data. You can halt it any time.
Custom software should make the business easier to run, not harder to hand over.
If someone else is a better fit, I'll tell you — and point you there. I won't take a project where I can't deliver a real outcome.
You leave the diagnosis with a written breakdown of what is broken and what it costs to fix — whether you hire Anito or not.
Code and credentials transfer before the first invoice. If not, the invoice is void.
