Privacy Policy

Plain language, no buried clauses. What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to remove it.

The short version

Anito is a software development and AI-automation practice founded and operated by Anthony Garces, serving clients in the United States and Australia. We collect the minimum information needed to diagnose a problem and deliver work — usually a name, an email, a written description of what is broken, and (only if you choose to share them) links or screenshots. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.

What you tell us

  • Diagnosis requests — the name, email, and plain-language description of your situation you submit via the project diagnosis form.
  • Correspondence — anything you put in an email, message, or call to us.
  • Voluntary context — links, screenshots, or access you grant to help us understand the system. You can withdraw any of this at any time.

What our systems log automatically

If analytics is enabled, we use a privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics tool that records only aggregate page views — no cross-site tracking, no personal profiles. Our hosting provider may retain standard server logs (IP address, request time) for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

How long we keep it

Diagnosis requests are kept for as long as we are actively discussing an engagement, plus 90 days in case you return. After that they are deleted. If you become a client, project records are retained for the duration of the engagement and seven years for tax-record purposes, then deleted.

Your rights (US — CCPA/CPRA, AU — Privacy Act 1988)

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you at any time. Email the diagnosis flow and write “privacy request” in the subject. We respond within 30 days.

AI processing

If we use AI tools (our own or third-party) during an engagement, we never submit your personal or customer data to a model without your written consent. Diagnostic descriptions are processed in confidence and never used to train third-party models.
